The fifth conversation of the drift dialogues with Extinction Rebellion:
Extinction Rebellion uses peaceful disobedience to draw attention to the impending climate collapse and massive species extinction. Since May 2020, the Extinction Rebellion construction working group has moved into the Haus der Materialisierung (House of Materialization) and uses the space as a workshop for collective making. With blockades and artistically designed interventions in urban space, the self-organized movement draws attention to the urgency of global climate justice.
