The sixth conversation of the drift dialogues with Simone Kellerhoff from Material Mafia:

The Material Mafia with its camp at Haus der Statistik deals with the topics of waste and upcycling. The idea: to obtain materials for artists, store them and make them accessible. In the meantime, Material Mafia is a used material market, a warehouse, a rental shop for props and, in addition, Simone Kellerhoff runs a wood workshop at Haus der Statistik in order to be able to give educational offers. Words remain words as long as they have no space in which they can become actions, which for Simone Kellerhoff makes urban practice a site-dependent practice.
