OPEN OFFICE X STEUERN? KEIN STRESS
Being self-employed sounds like freedom at first – but then comes the tax office. Whether it’s writing invoices, tax ID, Elster login or the big question of what you can actually ‘deduct’: many of us stumble across the bureaucracy of self-employment at some point. Especially if you don’t have traditional tax advice or have only recently started working as a freelancer.
That’s why we’re inviting you to “STEUERN? KEIN STRESS.”, an open exchange and information evening shortly before the deadline for tax and co. ends this year. In a relaxed atmosphere, people with experience will share their knowledge about taxes for freelancers – without technical jargon and with plenty of room for questions.
There is a brief introduction to the basics: What does the tax office actually want to know? How does Elster work? What are common mistakes – and how can you avoid them without losing your mind? Afterwards, we will open up several themed tables where you can get advice, exchange ideas or simply listen, either individually or in small groups, with the support of Erik Braun, a tax consultant from Berlin.
What you can expect:
- Information material to take away
- Exchange with people who have similar questions
- Tips on tools, tricks and solidarity centres
- Coffee, snacks & a room without tax panic
Bring your questions – or just come along and listen. It’s easier together.
