Netzwork office (Netzwerkstelle)
The operational body of Urbane Praxis e.V. is the network office, in german referred to as “Netzwerkstelle” It supports the Initiative Urbane Praxis in the development of discourse formats, action strategies and policy proposals together with urban policy actors, Berlin-wide and beyond the city limits. The network office connects with actors in the urban society in order to create synergies and to use resources sustainably for the achievement of common goals.
The network office is represented by Kristin Lazarova and Nina Peters.
The Berlin network is to be further expanded in 2022 and 2023. In addition, a nationwide and Europe-wide network is to be established. Urban practice is to become visible through new formats of mediation and exchange. Conceivable formats include roundtable discussions, podcasts, and joint city exploration tours. More places of urban practice are to be found and new collaborations with the individual districts are to be initiated. The consolidation of already existing locations is to be supported. Active cooperation with other intermediary urban policy bodies (e.g. “Taskforce bedrohte Räume”) should take place.
Working groups (Arbeitskreise or AK´s) were formed to develop the goals described above. These deal with the elaboration of concrete proposals.
- AK 1 – Fund*
- AK 2 – Department connection
- AK 3 – Network and practice
- AK 4 – Space
- AK 5 – Knowledge transfer
*development of a funding instrument
