Cycle track test field opening

The time has come! With lots of confetti, drums and trumpets and, of course, great fanfare, we can finally announce it: Celebrate the opening of the test field with us!

We cordially invite you to experience and discover the newly designed space under the viaduct between the Görlitzer Park and Kottbusser Tor subway stations from April 25, 2024 from 4 pm – with all the plants, bushes and flowerbeds, the new flooring recycled from old stones, seating and recreational facilities, infrastructure for cycling, lighting, innovative technical solutions and much more.

Come along, bring friends and neighbors – ride your bike, go for a walk, chill out, do sports, dance and discover it, try it out – the space under the U1. It’s your space, conquer it!

On the opening day itself there will be live music, ceremonial words and many of those involved in the project will be happy to answer your questions and present individual elements.
