There are plenty of vacant spaces—yet good projects often can’t find a home or end up losing it. In this workshop, you’ll learn how to find spaces for your idea and secure them for the long term.
Whether for culture, education, housing, or work: Here you’ll gain clarity on the next steps, concrete approaches to organization and financing, inspiring examples, and connections to like-minded people.

Friday evening: Basics of collective real estate development and land use for the common good—with LeerGut agents and the Immovielien network.

Saturday: Work on your own projects + field trips to successful projects in Weimar, such as the Schwungfabrik, the Gaswerk, or the WerkBank.

You have an idea—but how do you turn it into a community that supports it? This workshop will show you how to turn customers into members, shape funding and decision-making together, and build a vibrant community.
Whether it’s a bakery, a village store, a cultural venue, or a workshop: Here you’ll learn the basics of community-based business, tools for recruiting members, and receive personalized support for your project.

Friday evening: Fundamentals and practical examples—with opportunities for discussion and networking.

Saturday: In-depth sessions on financing, community building, and organizational structures.
