Are you looking for spaces or wondering why Urbane Praxis hasn’t already been working on your top topic? As your space representative, I am happy to offer you support and opportunities for exchange. Come to our kick-off workshop on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 6:30 pm and be part of an exciting discussion about the future of urban practice in Berlin. The workshop will last approx. 1.5 hours and catering will be provided.

Why should you take part? The future spaces of Urban Practice will soon be recorded in the cultural register to raise awareness of how many cultural venues are threatened by displacement and which new places need to be saved and developed cooperatively. The workshop on September 5 will also form the basis for new projects from the network, such as the call for proposals from the Berlin Project Fund for Urban Practice, which will start at the beginning of 2025. We want to develop potential spaces with you and prepare them for the application.

What can you expect at the workshop? Together we will identify potential spaces, discuss unused spaces in our neighborhood and create a list of potential spaces for Urban Practice projects. We will also discuss the priorities of Urban Practice to ensure that they are in line with current urban policy issues. Together we will develop concrete recommendations for action for our network.

How can you take part? Please take part in our survey and register for the workshop via the survey. Do you know of any unused spaces? Then fill out our short survey here, which only takes 1 minute. Or do you have the feeling that Urban Practice is not sufficiently addressing relevant topics? Let us know your thoughts in the survey! If you already have specific spaces in mind but are missing information, get in touch with me. We will support you at the relevant district offices (social space-oriented planning coordination – SPK).

Let’s find solutions together! This is just the beginning of a joint process that will be followed by further events. We look forward to your feedback and contributions!
