noise
The noise project is an audiovisual work developed by students at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (Cultural Studies) in collaboration with students from the Film University Babelsberg and the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. On 20 and 21 April, the work will be on public display as an installation in the Casino on the campus of the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam; the opening will take place on 20 April at 4 pm. The accompanying film will be released on YouTube on 20 April.
noise artistically explores the soundscape of Potsdam’s urban space and, by combining sound and film, offers a new way of experiencing it.
The aim of the project is to question when sounds are perceived as noise and to encourage reflection on the perception, meaning and social negotiation of sounds.
We look forward to raising a glass with you on 20 April at 4 pm!
