Soft Rrresistence — Public Space is for every bodies!
We wish to treat each other with consideration and solidarity. All information about the awareness concept can be found here https://www.urbanepraxis.berlin/awareness/

Who owns the street? As a female read, what is it like to move around the city and be out and about? What effect does this have on our perception of urban space? Soft Rrresistance is an open participatory action on the wasteland at Zobtener Str. 70 Lichtenberg.
There is sewing, embroidery and debate! We would like to sew together a colorful blanket, which will be the basis for a banner: on the sides there are two fabric tunnels that allow (if desired) to attach two broomsticks to hold it up. This blanket is both to cuddle, linger, picnic, and to intervene in public space – Public Space is for every body! While making we will get into conversation: We want to learn and experience from each other. “What are our personal paths in the city? Which are the places where we feel comfortable? Where do private and public separate and connect? What are our desires for the city?”
In this process we will decide as a group which terms, techniques and materials we want to use on the banner. All participants are invited to help create and picnic with us on the fallow – we are especially happy to have female read people participate!

Soft Rrresistance is a participatory action on the wasteland “Campus Kippe” in Lichtenberg. Together with you we will create a big picnic blanket that also serves as a feminist banner – Public Space is for every body!
