This episode is about the green learning oasis in the former greenhouses of the old Carl Legien school garden at Dammweg 216.

Until 2017, students learned everything about plant cultivation and gardening here in the border area between Neukölln and Treptow. Then the garden lay fallow and ran wild. Now Berlin Mondiale has got its foot in the door and is creating a green learning oasis in the former greenhouses, among other things.
The “Fuß in der Tür” team visited the neighbourhood campus with a rolling radio station during the “48 Stunden Neukölln” (48 hours Neukölln) festival: The birds are chirping, the sun is laughing and the neighbourhood campus Dammweg shows how art, culture and social issues can be united in an enchanted garden – and that at 35°C in the shade.
