Amazonen in Berlin is an art collective. The collective develops artistic, community-
oriented and educational projects that critically engage with statues and artworks in
public spaces and museum collections. Their work centres on reclaiming mythologies,
particularly the figure of the Amazon warrior women, by recontextualising them from
ecofeminist and decolonial perspectives. Their practice unfolds through participatory
artistic formats such as walks, workshops, and experimental tours.
