Floating University is a natural culture place of learning. Urban practice at and in the rainwater basin of Tempelhof Airport since 2018.
Floating e.V. is a self-organized association of people from diverse backgrounds who are collaborative, cooperative, imaginative and forward-thinking.
In solidarity with the history of the rainwater retention basin of the former Tempelhof Airport and with the connection of alternative narratives for urban development, Floating e.V. situates its mission: the opening, preservation and maintenance of this unique place by offering non-disciplinary, radical and collaborative programs to the public. In other words, a place to learn to act, to accept and see through the complexities and entanglements of the world, and to imagine and create other ways of living.
