From June 16 to 18, 2022, the N3 Sustainability Days took place in the Neukölln Arcaden - and your keen interest spurred us on!
At the Neukölln Sustainability Days N3 on the first floor of the Neukölln Arcarden, it became clear just how important a linchpin it is. We welcomed shoppers from all generations at the numerous colorful stands.
Together with local initiatives, participants were invited to join in and think for three days: From upcycling workshops, swap stores and second-hand fashion to a competition with plastic-free alternatives, everything was included. The N3 (“Sustainable Neighborhood Neukölln”) project was developed in cooperation with Kuko – Kollektiv für Kulturökologie, the “Schön Wie Wir” initiative of the Neukölln district office, the trial&error cultural laboratory initiative and the Neukölln Arcaden.
One thing was clear from all the campaigns: we as consumers are just as much in demand as the big companies and only together can we bring about change. Knowledge dissemination and transfer play an essential role in this.
A map was also created as an overview of sustainable places that already exist in Neukölln.
