S27 - Kunst und Bildung in Berlin-Kreuzberg is an art laboratory for young people who want to change the world.
At S27’s experimental hands-on construction sites, senses are sharpened and spatial figures are tried out; young people in very different environments become city makersand it’s all about shaping, negotiating and spinning the future in the large “city” community space. By taking the initiative and doing it yourself, your own scope for action is explored and made “tangible” in the best sense of the word, creating places for conversion and exchange. With various site projects, such as the Stadtwerk mrzn, PLATZ*DA! and the FALSCHER FISCH urban laboratory, S27 has contributed to Berlin’s diverse urban practice in recent years.
Together with raumlabor, ZK/U, HZT Berlin, nGbK, Berlin Mondiale and other long-standing urbanists, S27 is the initiator and driving force behind the city-wide experiment Urbane Praxis Berlin.
