MLD021, published in February 2022, is part of a series produced as part of the research project ‘Architecture after Architecture: Spatial Practice in the Face of the Climate Emergency’. It includes notes and commentary on what we call ‘business as usual’ (b.a.u.) – contemporary extraction processes that are not only violent, hurtful and unjust, but also: unloving, ambivalent, indifferent, irresponsible, self-serving, un-caring. We argue that they need to be replaced, repaired and reshaped.
