Toolbox “Pop im Kiez”
Berlin is undergoing rapid change due to construction activities and the tourism boom. The population is growing, while old cultural venues and clubs are disappearing.
This leads to conflicts between residents, cultural operators and tourists due to noise and garbage. The POP IM KIEZ TOOLBOX, supported by Berliner Clubcommission e.V. and sponsored by Musicboard Berlin, offers solutions for conflict prevention and resolution. It includes technical, structural and communicative measures as well as financing proposals to preserve the diversity of neighborhood culture. The GREEN CLUB GUIDE complements this with sustainable measures to reduce and avoid CO2 emissions for clubs and venues. Both projects help to maintain the attractiveness of the neighborhoods for everyone involved.
