EXPERIMENTAL COMMONS

Together with A MAZE. and Urban Spree we are inviting Berlin-based artists and creatives from the fields of performing arts, visual arts, and film & media art to a three-day interdisciplinary residency. The program centers on artistic Experiment at the intersection of performance, visual arts, and digital media art—with a focus on presenting work in the B-Dome, an immersive 360° dome. Over the course of three days, small groups of 3–5 artists from different disciplines will collaborate to research, experiment, and develop new work. The goal is to explore new artistic approaches that bring together the body, space, imagery, and digital technology. The program will conclude with a public presentation on the evening of the third day. Additionally, some participants will have the opportunity to share their experiences during a roundtable discussion at A MAZE./ Berlin2026. Who is this call for applications for? We are looking for artists, creatives, and interactive media artists based in Berlin working in the following fields: Performing arts (e.g., dance, circus, theater, performance) Visual arts Film & media art / creative coding We particularly welcome individuals who work at the intersection of art and digital media or who are interested in interdisciplinary collaboration.
