The importance of water for our life on earth is undisputed. It nourishes us, cools us, restores us. The water supply system in Berlin is currently in crisis. To draw attention to the urgent problems and highlight the need for binding solutions, the “WasserZeichenBerlin” initiative is calling for a demonstration to mark World Water Day on March 22, 2024.
The route leads from the main station along the banks of the Spree to the Lustgarten on Museum Island. The walking demonstration will be accompanied by two boats. An interim rally is planned at Friedrich-Ebert-Platz, very close to the “White Crosses” memorial.
