The workshop offers a well-founded introduction to the topic of anti-Muslim racism (amR) in Germany.

General information on the accessibility of the venue can be found at the following link: https://www.urbanepraxis.berlin/barrierefreiheit/

Together, we will work through basic terms, discuss current social developments and analyse the levels at which amR manifests itself, be it in everyday life, in the media, in political debates or in state institutions. A central aim of the workshop is to raise awareness of the structural and individual forms of anti-Muslim racism and to encourage critical reflection on one’s own social positioning. In addition, we will provide an overview of civil society structures and initiatives that are committed to combating amR. The workshop will be led by Rahmatullah in German.
