In June and July 2021, the exhibition ‘On Urban Practice in 12+1 Berlin Projects’ presented fundamental principles and qualities of Urban Practice (UP) in Berlin and put them up for discussion. In the network of Berlin’s urban laboratories and campus projects, the Haus der Statistik occupies a central position. Without the artistic-cultural methodology of UP this pilot-project would be inconceivable in such a central and historically established location in the city of Berlin.
