Save the Date // Expert Day & Open Urban Practice Day - 26-27 September 2025, Berlin
We are very pleased to announce the date for two special days today, where everything revolves around diverse, collective and participatory urban design.
Urban Practice Day // Friday, 26 September
‘Opportunities for collective urban design’
An interactive day for exchange, knowledge transfer and cooperation opportunities for all actors from civil society, administration, politics, the property industry and the funding landscape who are oriented towards the common good. With themed tables, project examples from Berlin and beyond and a strong focus on cross-departmental and intersectional cooperation.
Open Urban Practice Day // Saturday, 27 September
‘Making urban diversity visible’
Initiatives, spaces and actors invite you to a decentralised day that takes you through the city. The focus will be on migrant, feminist, queer and marginalised voices – with the aim of making urban diversity tangible, bringing perspectives together and collectively developing new definitions of urban practice.
How do urban practitioners manage to shape the city in an interdisciplinary and intersectional way?
What does a post-migrant, feminist and anti-racist city look like?
What demands do we make together for ‘the city’?
Why you should make a note of the date. These two days will bring together current developments, strategies and perspectives on urban practice – and show how cities can be organised differently, more participatively and in solidarity. Together with you, Urban Practice can break up current structures.
The open call for participation in the Open Urban Practice Day will follow shortly.
