Mi 14.12. 22 16.00 -18.00h Lecture and talk with Jeanne van Heeswijk (hybrid : online und in der Lobby/Sprache EN)
Jeanne van Heeswijk is an artist who facilitates the creation of dynamic and diversified public spaces in order to “radicalize the local”. Starting from our concerns of choreographic engagement we would like to hear and speak with her about what it means to engage on a longterm trajectory, to embed work and projects within specific local contexts and to organize the relationship between artistic methods and desires and non artistic demands and desires. Jeanne has recently published a book; Toward the Not-Yet: Art as Public Practice and we are curious of how Urbane Praxis and Art as Public Practice relate. https://www.jeanneworks.net

Do 15.12.22 14.30 -16.30 Vortrag und Gespräch mit Andreas Lang (live in der Lobby/Sprache D&EN)
Andreas Lang is co-founder of public works, a non-profit critical design practice that occupies the terrain between art, architecture and research. He also holds a position as Course Leader as well as a Course Tutor at the M ARCH Architecture at Central Saint Martin´s. We have invited him in the context of the Denklabor Tanz, Choreographie und Urbane Praxis, to think together; from our questions to his and his colleagues perspectives and spatial practices, their inspirations and histories of urban practices and educations (exploded classroom), from our Berlin based experiences to an outside Berlin context (London) and maybe back, and maybe different.
