WeWater brings together perspectives from design, art and science around the theme of water on Berlin’s Paul-Lincke-Ufer. The starting point for the exhibition is the urban design SpreeVision Osthafen, which was developed last year by the SpreeBerlin initiative. The design shows the scenario of a social-ecological upgraded Spree in the section of the East Harbour Basin. Further venues of the exhibition are therefore the Osthafen itself, where the design can be discovered via an AR application, as well as the Rummelsbucht, which will become the sounding board of a performance by artist Monika Dorniak. The works of the contributing international designers and artists tell through different media about water, as well as its diverse relationships to the city, its non-human as well as human inhabitants. The exhibition is curated by Symbiotic Lab and Leon Billerbeck.
