Fête de Maison. DIY and urban culture in the Akazienkiez

With the cultural festival “Fête de Maison” we want to network the neighborhood of the Akazienkiez, reactivate the public space and bring the eventful history of the former sanatorium “Maison de Santé” back into consciousness. Highlights are the exhibition Craftyard with an experimental walk, a BioBlitz – City Nature Challenge in cooperation with the Natural History Museum Berlin, the action “Civic Unsealing”, conception of a pedestrian and bicycle friendly Akazienkiez, a play street, a panel discussion, an Indian music performance and much more.

Craftyard is a young association in the Akazienkiez in Schöneberg, which deals with architectural
and spatial interventions for art and culture, environmental protection and civic affairs
commitment sets in.
