Together we will visit three Urban Practice locations in Berlin: the Flussbad in Berlin-Mitte, PLATZ*DA! In Berlin-Lichtenberg & the Stadtwerkstatt

Bustour:
Unfortunately, the bus is not well accessible for people with limited mobility.

Discussion:
The Adlerhalle is accessible at ground level. The flooring varies, but for the most part there is a smooth ground level floor. To get to the Adlerhalle you have to walk short distances over cobblestones!

Bustour:
To the starting point at the Fluss Bad Garten is the nearest public transport: U Museumsinsel, U Spittelmarkt (each about 650 m walking distance). Immediately nearby are also paid parking spaces.

Discussion:
From the stop Mehringdamm it is about 200 m to the Adlerhalle. The path to the Eagle Hall runs between the container of the drop-in center from the city hall block and the LPG market.

Together we will visit three Urban Practice locations in Berlin: the Flussbad in Berlin-Mitte, PLATZ*DA! In Berlin-Lichtenberg & the Stadtwerkstatt am Rathausblock – and exchange ideas about potential synergies and the future of urban practice. For and with politicians and representatives from the Senate and district administrations from the fields of urban development, culture, environment, education, youth and social affairs, as well as urban practitioners and interested parties.

(With digital inputs from Institut for X, Aller.Land Programm and Broedplaats Amsterdam and a following discussion on working tables)

The bus trips will be accompanied, as last year, by Detours (that are Guerilla Architects, Berit Fischer, Leon Klaßen) and invite this year to the somewhat different travel company “Make Kins not Owners”. Detours is a performative art series that uses mental detours to make existing knowledge experienceable from a different perspective.

This will be followed by a public discussion in the Adlerhalle / Stadtwerkstatt in the City Hall block, where we will reflect on what we have seen and incorporate it into discussions at work tables about sustainable infrastructures of urban practice.
