Flussbad Berlin e.V. presents the “Fluss Bad Gespräche”!
Experts from politics, science, culture and society enter into an active exchange with the public. In its 16th Fluss Bad conversation, everything revolves around the topic of water in the city and the need to rethink: What is the state of Berlin’s water? To what extent is water already understood as a resource worth protecting, a valuable material and a common good? Where are the problems still and what solutions are needed to establish sustainable water management?

On the podium:
dr Almut Neumann (Mitte District Office / District Councilor for Order, Environment, Nature, Roads and Green Spaces)
dr Darla Nickel (Berlin Rainwater Agency / Managing Director)
dr Carin Sieker (Berliner Wasserbetriebe / Head of Organizational Unit Strategies and Concepts for Wastewater Disposal)

requested Frauke Bathe (Senate Department for the Environment, Mobility, Consumer and Climate Protection Berlin)

Moderation: Rebecca Wall (Urbane Praxis e.V. and Stadtmacherin)

Event location:

Fluss Bad Garten Sperlingsgasse 1 Ecke Friedrichsgracht, 10178 Berlin

Organization/ Initiative:

FLUSS BAD BERLIN reactivates the Spree Canal as a valuable public space in the center of Berlin. Denn das Wasser wird von den städtischen Bäumen und Grünanlagen an den niederschlagsfreien und im Sommer zunehmend heißen Tagen eigentlich dringend benötigt.
